Al Walker & Dave Fearnall

Al Walker and Dave Fearnall have been plugged in since the writing and recording of  “Suitcase Walker the lost luggage”. The CD was released in spring of 2008. Suitcase Walker played a number of local dates supporting the CD.

Scaled down to a duo, Al and Dave continue to write original material with a new CD in production. Playing live as a duo locally. 2011 Otherfolk at Norma Jeans.

Dave Fearnall is from Owen Sound and jumped into the music scene in the mid sixties with The Tombstones., featuring Jim Wayner’s powerful vocals and stage presence and Dave’s huge keyboard sound. The band was one of Ontario’s finest club bands.

Al Walker began playing in his mid teens with a basement band. “Factory” quickly began playing live. Owen Sound’s first taverns and bars opened in the mid 70’s and by this time Walker had teamed up with singer songwriter Larry Jensen. Jensen and Walker were the house band at the Gold Rush Saloon and toured southern and northern Ontario until the late 70’s.
